So I have been using Verizon's VZAccess Manager instead of QLM for about 3 months now and today for the first time I got it to activate successfully and not fail. It also gave me a 40050 prl which I have yet to see posted anywhere yet.

Is there anyway you could harness that new PRL and put it up for others to use? If you could, that would be awesome.

Also, how did you download the Verizon Access Manager? I couldn't get it to work when I tried downloading it for my Alltel modem.

I would love to pull the prl file, but I don't know how to get it off the card. Also, you just go to the Verizon site and download it. You don't even need a phone number just put all 0's and it works.

Wow...didn't realize that. Are there any advantages with using VZAccess Manager rather than the standard, mundane Alltel QuickLink Mobil?

Thanks.

I like it better, it has more info than QLM and looks better to me. Just download it and try it out if you like it keep it.

Do you happen to know the password for the more detailed information within the Access Manager? When I hold Ctrl and D I see a dialog box and need a password. The standard 'diagsmsi' does not work, unlike in the QLM dialog box.

I'm using a Hauwei EC360, any possible way for me to be able to use VZAccess Manager? I've looked into it, but I wasn't sure which version to get. As I believe the EC360 was an Alltel-only card, so... only being able to use QLM.

Can anybody shed light on this situation?

I don't know if the card would work with Verizon, but they both use the same company's software for their respective dial up managers so you could give it a try. Just go for the latest version you can get.

Crying or Very sad

That's my problem, I'm not using any of those listed. So I may be SOL as far as VZAccess is concerned. :S

I am using the Um175 version of the software even though I have a Um150 so I would just give it a try and see.

Has anyone been able to download the PRL 51246 from their device so that others of us can try it?
