Here is what I am getting. I live in Boon, MI I have a booster and using a UM150 & cradlepoint router.

Hello All I live 4 miles south of Mesick, using UM175 and Cradlepoint 1000 router and Omni Antenna bout 25 feet tall. RSSI is -83 and Signal str is 48 and PRL is 40053.
Couple questions, think a amp would help? And can you change PRLs while connected to router or do you need to hook it straight to comp to change it, any other advice you see fit.

ping is 164
Download is 820
Upload is 140

Can't seem to figure the linking process yet for speednet.

All you have to do is click on copy forum link, then paste the results into the text field.

Your speeds aren't great, but if your hdr rssi is -83 and amp most likely won't offer a big enough gain for the cost.

You do have to remove the card from the router to update prl's. 40057 is the current one and may help you out.

Tried that yesterday with the link and some spam alert came on, trying again with this mornings numbers, and thanks for input. Nope keeps giving me a spam alert.

switched to 40057 seems to be a bit better RSSI dropped a bit to -99 and signal str 22 better ping though, keep triggering spam thing with speedtest link maybe cause I'm a newb.

You want a lower rssi not higher, i.e. -75dbm is better than -99dbm, so if you went from -83dbm to -99dbm you lost signal. Speedtest is a legit site so I wouldn't worry about it.
