I have this combo and it has been in place and working for many months with great success and now all of a sudden the card will not connect when inserted in the router, but will work just fine on any of laptops I have.
I have tried resetting the router and modifying my settings to see if I could affect a change, and still no go.
Any suggestions on "best practice" to figure out what the issue is?
Also I can still connect to any of the shared folders on the network as well as all of the remote desktops work on all the PC's within the network.
Only thing out of the ordinary might be that I have been using the heck out of the connection by downloading TONS of music VIA bittorrent connections (fear not, Trade Friendly jam bands on http://bt.etree.org/index.php ) I did speak with sprint and they did not indicate that they were throttling my bandwidth and I did a speed test on the card and it seemed fine when connected to any of the laptops.
OK sorry for the long post, but I am dying to get my setup back up and running....wife working on PhD, my needing my music fix so TIA for any help offered.

My only guess given the information you provided, is that a surge or some power fluctuation got to the router and perhaps damaged the components controlling the card, but not the card itself.
You listed that the router still works as a router, so that isn't a problem. That's my only guess at this point. I would attempt to get it replaced under warranty. |

| thanks for posting, I came to the same conclusion but wanted to find out I had a setting wrong in the setup....no warranty, it was an Ebayer that worked for about 9 months or so...I guess it is time to buy another one. |
