Purchase a new one from 3GStore or a used one off Ebay.
Then logon to your online account and do an ESN swap through the equipment change feature.
This allows you to change your registered /active device without cost or changing your plan. |

On the right under Quick Links is one titled "Activate My Phone". That is the choice you want. I see a guy on Craigslist here selling a USB760 for $40. I am thinking of grabbing it just to have it. I currently use a USB720 with a CTR-350 or PHS300. I switch back and forth with an internal that I took out of another USB720. I change it atleast onc a week and have not had it change my bill or anything negative.

| I simply used my new-every-two discount to upgrade from a PC card adapter to a UM175. They didn't change the terms of my plan, which is still unlimited. |

I have had Verizon broadband for at least 3 years, if not 5.
Just got nailed with $190 in overage charges; never changed my plan. |
