Hi,
I am wondering if some kind of sticky could be made up, explaining some of the details involved in the buying/ordering process here ?
For instance...
I asked a bunch of questions before I ordered. But stopped short of all the questions I should have asked, because I felt like I was being a bother.
I did ask about the advantages of having the card activated by 3gstore. But I did not ask whether that activation would 'begin' my one month 'trial' period with Verizon.
I should have asked.
Turns out, my one month trial period with verizon started on monday or tuesday of this week... And I won't even SEE the card until monday or tuesday of next week.
Also... FedEx is the ONLY option I was given for shipping.
My package came from Illinois. (Tuesday. Even though I ordered before noon on monday.)
It made it to Portland, Oregon, very early this morning. (Friday.)
It left portland, early this afternoon.
-IF- FedEx made deliveries on saturday, I would be seeing my package tomorrow.
But because they do not, it will sit in a facility, not 60 miles from where I live... While I sit on my thumbs here, wishing I had known better.
Had it been sent UPS or USPS, I would see it tomorrow. Or even already have gotten it today. But because FedEx was the ONLY option, I will lose two days while it just sits there.
Had I known that this was the case, I might have popped for a few more bucks, for a faster delivery.
This is not a complaint. I know I should have asked. And had I asked, I would have popped for the faster shipping. Also, I know that these things take time. I don't expect miracles, and I don't -expect- anyone to bend over backwards.
I just think it would be good customer relations to make up a sort of faq about these sorts of things, so people can be more 'edjumakated' about their options, etc, when they order.
Add things to it as they occur to you, or are asked about, by customers.
Present it on the order page/s. Do this so that people will not have to try to think of all the questions they 'should' have asked, before making their order.

I am really looking forward to trying this out, on monday or tuesday. I have a good feeling about this.

dunno about verizon but
I got my sprint evdo card or w/e like 1 day shipping time hehe
i plugged it in skeptical ofc... installed, called to get it activated (since u ordered from 3g store till already be ready to use)
but neways
I started getting amazing page speeds, and then i decided hmm lemme see how this works for gaming
i was actually getting green latencys i was getting a lil happier inside lmao
and etc etc
i love 3G
wouldnt be able to do anything w/o it
never going back to dial up, or satellite AGAIN _________________ imblacknuffsaid |
