Sierra Compass - 797 Error in Visata

Have an issue with my Sierra USB modem, I got prompted for a new PRL and let it install, aaparently someithing in Vista did not like the update. THe modem still works on other PC's and I have done multiple uninstall - re-installs. Apparently MS has a fix for this but I cannot find it posted anywhere, but I do know its an issue within Vista. The Sprint Smart View cannot use the modem due to Vista not seeing the modem, however Smartview will give you INfo off the modem so it knows its there. I tried to setup a new connection within Vista but it cannot find the modem, the drivers are installed I can see the modem in the Devices panel but netwrking cannot see them, Anyone seen this issue, let me know.
