I am brand new and not sure if I understand everything. Just bought a new USB 760 and Cradlepoint MRB1000. I first plugged the USB 760 into my Desktop and activated and installed Verizon Access Manager. I then moved the USB 760 and Cardlepoint to central location in house and I am connectly wirelessly with router. Everything working well, but how do I check my monthly useage without Verizon Access manger working ?? I guess the software is running on the modem. Thanks

I am in the same boat, I just got my 760 last week with a ctr350 router... It's funny how no one tells you that the VZ access manager does not work through a router. You check your usage from the verizon website which is updated every 2-3 days I notice so be careful on your useage. After speaking with a friend I understand there is some downloadable software to track your usage but I think it applies to Internet Connection Sharing setup.

The Status | Statistics page of Admin login on my CTR350 Shows Sent and Received KiloBytes for the WAN device (the modem).

I'm wondering, if one were to do a "Clear Statistics" each month on the day your Account resets would the total of the two be equal to your account usage in real time?

Maybe someone from 3Gstore tech support could answer that.????

this article explains how to check usage:

http://www.evdoinfo.com/usage

nothing you can do on your cradlepoint is likely to EVER "match up" with what verizon claims as your usage. many on these forums have noted how crazy the usage reporting is for all major carriers.

it doesn't matter what any 3rd-party utility you use reports as usage, the only thing that matters is what your carrier says your usage is.

i don't AGREE with that, its just how it is.
