Usually, when a "sequel" to a phone is released, the capabilities of the new model are more advanced than the original.

Unfortunately, the new Instinct S30 actually LACKS something big that the original Instinct had: EVDO REV-A!

Why?? Who knows - but it's a pretty big disappointment.

Other than that, I actually like the S30 a lot. In fact, if it had Rev-A and was tether-capable, this just might be my favorite Sprint phone. It's easy to use, video looked good, music sounded good, and sync'd easily with Mac AND PC - I love the functionality.
