Hi everyone, Smile

I am having a problem with the SmartView software and i was hoping you could lend some advice, suggestions, comments, etc.

I have a Sierra Wireless Aircard 597E that i received from Sprint for mobile broadband through cell signals. Everything works fine with it, i can connect to the internet, i can load my email, i can connect to my companies VPN, etc etc. But when i load a specific program that needs port 27004 to connect, it fails on the connection.

I've looked and read as many manuals as i could about the software and the card and i am lost. I was originally thinking there was a firewall installed with it or perhaps the card has limitations, but i don't think either of those are true.

Does the newest Smartview software block connections? or certain port numbers? If so, is there i was i can go in and tell it not to do this? Some sort of config perhaps...

Some specs:

Windows XP sp3
1 year old laptop (dualcore + plenty of ram)
Sierra Wireless Aircard 597E

Thanks for the help! Very Happy Cool
