Verizon UM175 compatability?

I've read a number of posts and don't see a clear answer to the question of whether or not this router will work with non-Sprint EVDO modems. The best I can find is "works with some".

Specifically, I'm interested in Verizon's UM175.

The price and features of the WRT54G3GV2 make it attractive, but only if it works.

If you look here: http://www.evdoinfo.com/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,115/ you will see it does not support it, You will be much more satisfied with a Cradlepoint.

As Jim mentioned in the post above, stick with the MBR1000 if you are going to get a router for the UM175.

The WRT54G3GV2 will not work with your UM175, and the firmware updates are not so widely available as they are with the cradlepoint routers.
