I just got the Cradlepoint MBR 1000 router, which is capable of load balancing. I was wondering if using two USB modems (with two mobile broadband service, of course), will that improve my gaming experience? Or does it really not matter due to the latency (which is around 140ms right now). I am thinking of trying it out, but just wondering if any have done this before.

If you did get it to work properly, you would most likely double your latency.
Gaming would suck.

Your gaming is suffering most likely from the ping. 140ms sounds good compared to my 300+ btw Razz

Since ping or latency is a measure of time and not speed, you will be out of luck. Your second modem might increase your internet speed, but the second modem will still be delayed by the same 140ms, and thus not increase at all. I can't speculate whether it would make it worse though. I wouldn't think so.
