According to the latest Sprint Mobile Broadband press release, Sprint will be ordering the PC5740 later this month.

I will bet that Sprint, like Verizon will push this card in a big way like Verizon does. Many of the Verizon stores, this is the ONLY card they sell.

The PC5740 is the cheapest of all the EVDO cards (by $100 or so). When the carriers sell this card, they make more money (and sometimes the sales people too).

Search around up here on EVDOforums, the PC5740 isn't a bad card, in fact, the performance is actually not bad. The biggest issue that you need to be aware of is that the PC5740 EVDO Card is the only card without an external antenna port, so there is no way to ever add an external antenna or signal amplifier (if you ever need one).

We have had a few reports that these are now available from Sprint.

I can attest to this. When recently shopping for an EV-DO card at Sprint stores in the Tampa area, I found that the only cards in stock were the PC5740.
