My daughter has moved home and needs to access the web for her college courses. Right now she uses my HTC PPP 6800 after 9pm and on w/e (I have pre paid) this set up of course is not working very well. The only other access I have is the UM150 that I use all day for work.

Is the MBR 1000 the only way to go or is there a more economical way? I'd prefer the 1000 but it's a little steep for us right now.

TIA

All the routers in the link below are compatible with the Alltel UM150, EXCEPT the Linksys:

I also have the UM150 and it lives in an MBR1000. This combo has served me well. When I bought the MBR1000 I believe it was the only 3G router that supported the Alltel UM150 (other than the one offered by Alltel with one Lann port) and I needed more than one Lan port, so it was really my only choice. I have not been sorry I bought from the 3Gstore, the support is top notch.

My CTR350 has (mostly) been working great with my Alltel UM150. (Just a problem with OpenDNS, and setting to auto-scan for the best WiFi took care of the problems for me)

Once I got over the growing pains, the CTR350 and UM150 are for me a good combo.
