How good is the signal-to-noise ratio of a Wilson antenna?

I have a Wilson Cellular Dual-Band Magnet Mount Antenna. I wonder how good is the signal to noise ratio of this antenna.

Antennas themselves don't have signal to noise ratios, so I'm not exactly sure what you're asking.

I've had very good results with my Wilson Trucker antenna.

I don't know what the signal/noise ratio of an antenna is either but on receive, the signal/noise ratio at the antenna is *always* better than that at the user end of the coax transmission line. Slight differences in (omni) antenna performance can easily be swamped by the loss of poor quality transmission line. This is particularly the case at PCS/1900 MHz.

If you are using RG/58, or something even worse, it's pretty easy to make the antenna type a "don't care" if you go very far with the coax. OTOH, putting the antenna a few 10's of feet higher up *might* very dramatically improve signal and even with terrible coax provide a net improvement.
