So I've been wondering when Verizon will be sending us divested people the vz access manager in place of Alltel's Quick Link Mobile. So for fun I tried downloading it today and using my Alltel number with it. It works! Now, I don't know if the billing will be the same so do it at your own risk! But I can connect with their system no problem. It has better features than Alltel's QLM.

Here is the link:

I am guessing you need the Verizon prl for it to work which I already am using so you may have to get that first if you don't have it.
Speed tests were the same using vzw access but, the overall speed seemed better than using QLM on Verizon's tower.

Just so you know the number doesn't matter. Go onto the Alltel page and the Verizon page and use a random number (111)111-1111, and it lets you download anyways.

Not even sure why they have the check in there.
