SCM Always Has Rev A Connection at 153Kbps

I've noticed lately that my Novatel v3.10.014 Sprint Connection Manager always connects at 153 Kbps whther I am 100 feet or two miles from the local Sprint tower. Seems like it is some default setting It would seem that since Rev A speeds are so much higher the connection would be higher as well.

Is there a setting I can adjust to default to a higher connection speed?

have you tried connections to other than that tower to see if you can ever attain higher speeds?

i don't think there is a setting in SCM to throttle connection...

Not a tower problem, it has happened in 4 states this past week. I'll play around with RWIN setting and recheck the home area address. When I reinstalled Novatel SCM v3.10.014, it may have reset something.
