Being a person who likes to dig in to and look at settings for everythint, especialy if tweaking something might give mea better performance, I was looking through the settings of my Pantech UM175 modem this morning, and I noticed that in the PRL field, there was no number listed at all. Now I can't be sure as I wasn't really looking for it before, but I'm almost certain that there was a number there just yesterday, 5it was around fifty-eight thousand and something, but I could be wrong. Is this something I need to be concerned about, and if so, where might I find the latest PRL file for my Pantech UM175 USB modem? My area is in West Virginia, if that makes a difference.

Thanks.

~Ann

To get the most current PRL , stick the modem into your computer open up the vzaccess manager and click on Options>Activation the most current PRL will be downloaded automatic.

I wish it were that easy for me. Mine always needs to be manually activated, which means a call to Verizon tech support. The Options/Activation feature has never worked for me at all.

Anyone know just what the latest version of the Verizon PRL is for USB modems?
