Was just curious about this i get pretty fast uploads it seems but my downloads seem to be about average for evdo. I figured since i get such good uploads i should be able to get better downloads somehow? I just started messing around with drtcp any tips would be appreciated. windows xp with a um150 modem.

I've noticed similar results with my service. I'm in a small town, and I don't think a lot of people have EVDO service around here on aircards. With full signal, I average around 90 to 100KB/sec upload, and download is somewhere around the same I believe...100-150KB/sec range maybe.

I guess it's just the difference in the capability of the cell site (how many T1s are run to the site), load, etc.
