|
|
Hey guys. I recently picked up an external antenna adapter that 3GStore sells for the KPC680. It seems really flimsy and will not 'snap' onto the piece like it's supposed to. When I plug it in, absolutely nothing changes RSSI-wise and I have to hold it to keep it from falling out.
Is the official adapter from Kyocera a better choice? Can anyone pitch in and let me know. If this has already been posted, I'm sorry, I couldn't find it.
Thanks in advance. |

The post on the cable should go through the plastic clip and turn 90 degrees to lock. It should be in the port on the left or under the Kyocera logo. |

Ahh well that makes sense! Thanks for the pointer. There wasn't any directions with it, so I wasn't sure why it wasn't staying in there.
On the point of the official adapter, are there any known performance differences? Does the official adapter perform better? It's hard to find any review information on the product.
Thanks. |

I ordered mine from Kyocera, I looked on the 3G Store web site and they look the same. I can not imagine that there would be any difference in performance as long as the connections are good. |
