Purchansed a Samsung Hue 11 with alltel, 30 dollar per month data plan, unlimited, on primary phone, so second phone is available for calls. I had major issues, since phone is very new, got tech support, told me they had data problems. I could not connect, kept getting 'pick up handset and dial the number' then in the wizard, then the phone would not connect. I went through all phone and network settings, alltel access did not work, wizard
from the program list, gave me 'phone not supported at this time', set it up manually, did not work....six calls to tech, finally got a guy who after two hours, no one had this issue before, figured it out. The phone not supported message was bogus, the phone IS supported.

We found that operator assisted dialup box in network connections, in the Advanced menu, was CHECKED. If this is checked, and it certainly was in a brand new eeepc1002HA, net book, you WILL NOT CONNECT! If you cannot connect, and get the offer to hand dial the connection, go in there and un check operator assisted dialup or you will be doomed. Simple, thing to overlook, but fatal in all cases with the auto connect feature of the access software. You will not connect by hand, eithor by dailing the handset.

Now the phone works great, fast speeds, (I am in range of two towers, even works on the West Coast where its been impossible to get bb or decent dialup due to poor land lines, weather, salt, canes. I think is a good phone, but if you get a message that its not supported its not true, its a glitch when the operator assisted dialup box is checked. I do not know what speeds I am getting but it is quite fast. Depending on signal strength and weather. I hope this helps someone before they give up on the phone. Its not something you would think about since the access software is supposed to set up automatically.
