I have discovered that with Win7, when I start Sprint SmartView, in the Mobile Broadband tab, it says 'no wireless device detected'. Works fine on Vista and W2008.

The lights on the modem are blue as though it is connected and finding signals.

Is there anything else I need to do to get this to work?

Larry

Try this: right click the Smartview icon - select "Properties", click the Compatibility tab and select which version of Windows you had it working with before.

I tried several different OSs just to make sure plus set it to run as administrator. Still the same problem.

I had the same problem w/the Pantech PX-500. What I did was go into the Device Manager and tell it to fix all compatibility/hardware issues. Somewhere along the way it got the drivers it needed for the card bus to allow the card to work. I suspect the same might happen with the USB bus.

Did you have any luck getting your modem to work? I'm very frustrated and have tried the suggestions here. Also tried running modem in "Virtual Windows XP" mode, no luck there either.
