Sprint initially announced that there were going to call EVDO, "High Speed Wireless Data". When they officially announce it on Tuesday November 1st, 2005, they will now call it Mobile Broadband
Verizon calls their EVDO BroadbandAccess.
Just remember they are both the same technology called EVDO (or EV-DO, or 1xEVDO)

It seems like it will shake out like this:
EVDO = Verizon's BroadbandAccess = Sprint's Mobile Broadband
VCast uses Verizon's BroadbandAccess to deliver streaming video (to phones)
Power Vision Uses Mobile Broadband to deliver streaming tv, music store, etc (to phones)
So, both VCast and Power Vision use EVDO to deliver content to EVDO capable phones, while BroadbandAccess and Mobile Broadband allows EVDO capable Pocket PCs and Data / Connection Cards for laptop access. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

| These new Sprint Power Vision phones come with a USB cable packaged in the box for use as a modem. You can get the regular $15-25 Vision plan but if you try to tether it will ask you to change to the "flex tethering" plan which will start at $25 for 40MB and cap out at $70 for unlimited not $79. |
