I have looked on the compatibility chart and it appears that the Huawei EC228 is not compatible with the Kyocera KR2, BUT, the CradlePoint MBR1000 is. Therefore my question. The review of the KR2 says that the KR2 is basically a MBR1000, with the addition of a PCMCIA slot. Can the KR2 be used with the Huawei EC228? I am using a Huawei EC228 and would like to establish a wireless network at home for a desktop, a laptop, a PS3, and a Wii. Currently the only available highspeed is through Alltel using the huawei.

Thanks for any help anyone may be willing to offer to a complete newbie.

Thank you so much evdovanessa. I am just beginning to learn about these things. I went to the kyocera website and found the compatibility chart. I feel like an idiot for not checking there first.

Thanks again,
