| Today my brother told me that he heard Sprint was going to offer 4G coverage around grand rapids/detroit MI by Feb. of next year. Im not sure if he was just trying to sound like he knew what he was talking about or if he really herd it from a best buy rep. If people at best buy would know anyways. Has anyone else heard of or spotted Sprints 4G coverage? |

You can find more information about WiMax in the Grandrapids, MI area by going to the official city of Grand Rapids link. Notice that this is Mobile Wimax and is supposed to be the first of its type since the City of Grand Rapids has contracted with clearwire to provide service for City departments for specific uses. In essence this means the City of Grand Rapids is subsidizing the installation of ClearWire/4G WiMax for use of its citizens as well as for use by city services such as police and fire to start but may evolved to meter reading, traffic light and other communications.
grcity.us/wireless is the official location for the City of Grand Rapids information. |
