hey fellas, i'm new here.
Here is my problem. I took my USB 595U apart and removed mini WWAN card and install in to my M1330.
In my system - device manager, i see in network adapters Broadcom Netlink adapter but i can't really make Broadband connection.
I tried latest Sprint Smart view and also Dell™ Mobile Broadband Utility, but also, no device detected.
Where did i do wrong ?
Is it possible to make it work ?
Thx |

The 595U has an on-board internal battery. If that is not connected it won't work. You should have seen that when it was disassembled. You would have better luck with a used U720. _________________ evdo-tips.com |

hmm, i don't think so, the battery is the problem. When you take that 595U apart, inside is MC5725 mini card .

Both of you are wrong.
The battery is NOT the problem.
I know as I have a sprint ac595u mini-pcie card in my lenovo x200 tablet working beautifully without the battery attached.
For the first poster. I suggest he try taping off pin 20. and/or checking a dell forum to see if his model's BIOS has a device "whitelist" which only lets certain cards function in the slot.
I got mine working after finding the whitelist thread on lenovoforums. |
