Just got my CTR500 and internet speed seems about the same using ethernet cable but when using wireless it is as slow as dial up...showing 100% connection and everything is within 10 ft radius...any tips appreciated

Take a look around your surroundings do you have cordless phones, fluorescent lights, or other routers that might cause radio interference? From your post the key is that it works fine through ethernet so that tells me something is interfering with the wireless radio.

Try changing the channels on the router - login to the routers admin page, go to BASIC>Wireless and remove auto channel select and select say channel 1 or 11, save setting see if that helps.

No,no and no...already tried that...getting 100% signal but this thing is slower than steam off s#@t!!!....thanks for the suggestions though...:>)

Can you provide some more details about your setup? What type of network card are you using, what type of modem, what network? When you say 100% connection is that a Cellular connection or a WiFi connection?

I am using the Novatel USB 720 modem...Belkin USB 'G' Network adapter...Verizon Wireless...the WiFi connection is "Excellant"...the Verizon connection is ok but that is irrelavant as it depreciates via the CTR500....thanks for your interest...

SUCCESS!!!!...thanks to Marcus at Cradlepoints tech support I have resolved my slow performance problem...DAMN this thing is smoking!!!....never ,ever got speeds like this...on speedtest.com I got a high of 1900k+...averaged 1200k over 8 tests!!!!...happy camper here now....:>)

This is what Marcus at Cradlepoint's tech support recomended....under the Advanced tab. Firewall and Traffic Shaping. Go to each field on the left side column and remove the checkmark for Enable. Select Save Settings at the top before going to the next option. Select Reboot to reboot the router....it worked for me...:>)
