We currently have Sprint EVDO and we share internet access with the Linksys mobile broadband router and our Novatel S720 (I *think* that's the model name).

Sprint has p'd us off for the last time, the latest was billing us twice for something. So we might bite the bullet and go elsewhere. My question is this...do they make mobile broadband routers for the little USB connection cards? It seems that the pcmcia style cards are falling by the wayside so I'm sure we'll have to get a USB model.

All of these are superior to Linksys, and work with USB modems:

btw, we can set you up with verizon evdo, will discount the router, and promise superior customer and tech support!

Thanks. You know, I hadn't researched these things in so long...I appreciate the info.

Does the carrier matter as far as the router goes? Alltel is pretty strong in our area, but I understand they'll be merging with Verizon soon, did I read that correctly?

the coverage matters most, the carrier is second.

we'll be selling/supporting alltel this month. maybe next week.

email us your full street address and zip code and we can give you our opinion of which carrier offers best solution. sales@ 3gstore.com

yes, alltel is being assimilated by the borg. er, verizon.
