Does anyone know the type of connector adapter that I need to be able to connect an external WiFi antenna to a CTR500 or the connector type used in the unit?
Thanks, |

| It's an MC-plug, not to be confused with it's very similar cousin MMCX. |

| I am interested in this antenna. Where can I find more info on it. Does this antenna just extend the rounter distance? Does it help with signal strength? |

| Do you happen to have an antenna cable for the CTR500's WiFi connector? |

http://3gstore.com/359917 - MC to FME male:
You may have a hard time finding a WiFi antenna with an FME-female cable end...
interestingly enough, our booster antenna specs
list it as being: "Wide-Band (800 MHz to 2500 MHz)"
i confess, i've never tried our booster antenna to improve WiFi range of a CTR500.
might have to make time to do that in the future.
update: tech.support manager vic is testing it now. initial results are very good,
but he wants to do more testing before we sell/support this as a solution. stay tuned!

I am interested in just purchasing the cable. I already have an antenna. I am using a ruggedized solution that was originally designed for a KR-1. It is enclosed and includes two mounted antennas (one for WiFi, one for EVDO). I want to replace the KR1 with a load-balanced CTR500. I don't want to use an MBR-1000 because of the multiple antennas (Wireless N) and higher power consumption.
Can I just purchase the cable?
