I seem to be a victim of the 1.4 no MDM light also. Just seems to shut down the internet connection until I pull the plug on the router and replug then the MDM lights and I can re-connect to the internet until this thing disconnects again. This is getting frustrating. How do I go back to the previous firmware?. Any solutionsto the random disconnects?

| Dave, From your other post I see you have a USB720. What Cradlepoint router do you have? |

Who else is having this issue?
I'm still having this issue. I have made Cradlepoint Tech Support aware. Here is my last correspondence with them....
Attn. Tech Support
I woke up and checked the router this morning. PWR, WAN were green only on the router. MDM and others were not lighted. Turned on the laptop and saw just the 2 little monitor icon on the bottom right side of task bar. No globe with them. Readout there said local connect NOT Internet and Local. I was able to go into Cardlepoint ADMIN. Went to "MODEM" and it showed no modem in regard to the MBR1000. I then went and unplugged my V740 express card and immediately plugged it back into the router. Within 10 seconds or so I had the Globe with the 2 monitors in the right hand side of my screen and I was able to get on to the internet. Attached is a copy of the log from last night. Also attached is the configuration file from my router which had same settings as the one sent to you yesterday. Hmmmm, looks like I may have to go back to 1.21. |

I have the MBR1000.The router worked fine with the previous version1.1. I had read about the next version after 1.1 and the horror stories so I was reluctant about upgrading to 1.4. I had not heard any issues with 1.4 so I upgraded and the first few days were uneventful. The router just started this MDM light last week. The WLAN light is on and flickering but will not connect without unplugging the power to the router and plugging back in(have a constant MDM light after this). I just did the upgrade over thanksgiving weekend so it has not been installed very long. I do have the 3g support CD that came with the router, I haven't looked at it yet but maybe the 1.1 version is on there. I will try to reload it if no one finds a solution to these disconnects.

Just looked at the 3g CD that came with the router. Looks like it has version 1.0 and 1.1. At least I can go back if needed. CD is dated 2/15/08.

| Before reverting to any previous version make sure you either contact 3GStore support. One thing you can try on your own first is to do a hard reset on the router to see if upgrading from 1.1 to 1.4 has caused any configuration issues. |

I'm not going anywhere with this problem for the time being. It is being looked into for a probable cause.I will sit tight until advised other wise. The router has been on for the past 24hrs. without a disconnect so it is not to much of a hassle at this point.
