Getting Rev A now.. would like to maximize it

We are getting rev A in my area now.

I only get 1-2 bars (80-90 RSSI) however, and it frequently disconnects. If its on DO.. I get 3-4 bars with RSSI in the low 70s. I have a pc5750 attached to a wilson trucker antenna I bought from 3gstore. I have it perched in the window sill as its the best signal I have been able to get short of buying a ton of cable. The signal I tested from the roof wasn't really any better so I left it the way I had it. But, now that we are apparently getting rev A here.. I was wondering if there was an inexpensive way to bring the signal in, if even possible.

I know inexpensive and EVDO don't really go together.

Since your Rev A signal is -80 to -90, and your normal DO is -70 or so, with an omni antenna, a directional antenna should really take care of things. Even the speed on your DO signal would improve greatly by getting down towards -55 or so.

what do u mean by directional?

I have a wilsin onmi directional.

I also had to upgrade my card..

I have the um175 now... currently getting 2 bars of Rev A consistently. would like to make it better.
