I already have the 5740 (I think that is the model) express card
in my Macbook Pro. However having problems with either the
express card or the Verizon VZACESS MANAGER crapping out
on me.

I am thinking of getting the smaller USB760 modem with a
1-year contract. Currently my contract ran out. I can deal
with another year.

Is there something on the horizon that will replace this modem?
I mean, Verizon is at REV A right now -- is there something coming
in the next few months that will replace this modem for faster
access?

I don't want to buy this modem now and regret the purchase
6 months down the road.
