I just recently signed up for the aircard and I use it as my home connection and am watching the usage closely. Yesterday when I checked my statistics it said I had used like 100mb received and about 48 MB sent. When I disconcerted my log for that session jumped to almost 253 sent and a 100 received and my stat window still showed less, what gives, I check and I have all of automatic updates for everything turned off, and I wasn't using any file sharing, any ideas?

I have noticed the same thing as well. Different numbers of course, but the same thing. As you as well, I wonder why this is..

However, I have found that the process of adding together the bytes sent and received, and the session logs total (with date range to = current period), along with periodic manual checking of the usage log, to be a fairly accurate way to calculate 'bandwidth usage amount'. While the session log does get updated with the sent/recv'd bytes (almost always..) after a disconnect, it does get a bit more amount totals for both sent and received.
