Can anyone confirm whether verizon pc5750 works with the new linksys v2 router? I know its not officially supported but I have the original WRT54G3G-ST and the PC5750 works fine. I'm curious if the same can be said for the WRT54G3GV2. TIA.

my vzw pc5750 worked when i did the 3GV2 review

you can get the 3GV2 -- but if your pc5750 doesn't work with it "out of the box", don't expect too much support from our guys.

we would still recommend the KR2.

I would just order the KR2.

I don't want you to waste your time nor your money on a device that does not support your card.

I know but the price difference is enough to make me want to try it. Like I said, I have the original version running the 5750 and its been near flawless for a year.

any updates from anyone on this...is this worth trying or not. My linksys got fried tonight by lightning...it was plugged into a UPS and all that jazz and was the only thing that died on the box. I think it is only the power "brick" as a power brick with similar voltage and amperage seems to "turn the lights on" but I didn't leave it plugged in for too long.

If this works I would entertain buying one. I really don't want to drop the cash right now on a new express card with a new router since my 5750 is still working. I know I can probably go on ebay and get a new/used v1 wrt54g3g but I need this in kind of a hurry so I was going to order from 3gstore with overnight shipping.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
