|
A silly question I know. My friend has picked up Verizon BroadbandAccess from 3Gstore, and enjoys the high speed internet, but asked me the other day if the contract also includes an email account.
I'm guessing it does not, but if it does, how do I get them set up? Would I have to activate something from the Verizon page? |

Verizon does not and will not provide an email.
It is always best to have a separate email
pop 3 email account for example (me@mydomain.com)
or the ones below the good part about the ones below they give you a lot of storage and you can access from any computer in the world.
GMAIL (free) or YAHOO (free) |

| Verizon DOES provide "1/2" of an email account. That is, they provide an outgoing (smtp) email server, but you have to provide an incoming POP email server. I use a "vanity" address on an incoming server and the Verizon-provided server for the outgoing email. |
