dialup. i use verizon and consistently get -82 dBm. maybe 3 days every month ill get speeds like 800 k/b Down and 400 k/b Upload. but any other time ill get -80 dBm with it topping out a 200 k/b Up/Down. i use speedtest.net. downloads take forever. i hear i can substitute vza manager (upto date) with something else but i forgot...i emailed them and sayd everything seemed fine....i use vista home premium, no viruses or spyware. i get RevA bt its just super slow! any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Thx

Have you checked to see where your nearest tower is? Jim in Va. has a blog on checking to see if you pulling off of 1 tower or 3 it makes a difference on speeds to be locked in on 1 tower.Anything below -80 on your signal should be ok for some fast downloads.
