|
|
So far, I have not received any notice from Sprint about the caps.
This month, my bill no longer said "unlimited".
Today, I logged on to my Sprint account at the Sprint website, and it no longer had "unlimited" listed, and there was a link expalingin the 5gb cap.
I called Sprint, and they said to refresh the page, and the word "unlimited" reappeared, but the link to the change in terms was still there.
I was told that I would not receive a letter about the change in terms unless I went over 5GB.
They admitted that the account was not "unlimited" because if i went over 5gb, it would then become limited.
I know they can change the terms at any time, however, they know in advance that they will limit my unlimited plan, all while telling me it is unlimited.
So, I ask you, is this not an illegal bait and switch scam?
Sounds like we all need to write the attorney general's office in each state and get them to investigate.
In the mean time, I plan to go over the cap and force them into letting me out of the contract without an EFT. Do they charge for overages?
