Ok i have a u727 sprint modem i have the wilson amp and a regular wilson trucker antenna.My connection is and where from 40 to 80% so im wanting to purchase teh wilson yagi antenna and cable.
Question is what cable should i buy ?15 to 25 feet is fine.Can someone help with some links to the things i need?Highly appreciate it. |

how come when i orderd my yagi and cable they sold me the male to male 20' ? how did they expect me to hook it up?
going to call on monday, but right now trying to get it set up to work with a USB extentison cable and Yagi mounted outside.

yep, figured that out after i opened up the box thursday. so i have to call monday and order another adapter, i did noitice in antother thread you posted in a LMR400 cable that has a male and female on it?
one step at a time, now to see if the 20' cable is going to be long enough.
i know some place on this site i found your NOT supposed to connect two cables togeatehr? |

That cable can come configured any way you want. You just need to specify which, male or female, on one end. The majority of after-market yagi, panel, grid antennas terminate with N/female. _________________ evdo-tips.com |

called verizon to find out MHz my tower is on as per sugestion before i try purchaing a Gird Anntena and they said between 800 and 1900MHz...
well which one should i purchase?
i would assume the 1900 will read all ??
need to check that website and see.
anybody got thoughts?

| Make sure the yagi you get is a dual band covering both 800 and 1900. If you look at the above photo of the Yagi antenna you can see both long and short elements extending above and below that main shaft. The long elements are for 800-900 MHz, the short ones are for the 1900-2000MHz, which is also referred to as 1.9-2.0GHz. |
