Any PC cards commercially available with QCOM's MSM6800 chipset,
which supports EV-DO Rev. A?

Any of these MSM68000 cards available with Java built into Brew?

Qualcomm recently announced that chipset. There are no PC cards commercially available that yet support it. I don't think we will see cards until 2006 that support EVDO Rev A, since the network doesn't yet support EVDO Rev A.

When cards are available, they will be posted at EVDO Products.

Thanks Mike.

I know they'll be trialing Rev. A in 2005 so I was hoping there was a card out there that had msm6800, so that I don't have to buy another card.

The newest EVDO Connection cards currently use the MSM6500, that is the Kyocera Passport 1xEVDO PC Card.

I will post any new EVDO Cards that are available in the EVDO Products section. I will post any new EVDO Cards that are announced in the EVDO News section.

Many thanks, Mike.

When is the Passport going to be offered by the carriers, because Kyocera is already selling accessories on their website?

The Passport should be the best card in the market when it comes out, I assume, since it has the MSM6500 chipset. Or is that jumping the gun?

Thanks again.
