CradlePoint CTR500 Router and the Option GT Ultra Express Modem

3Gstore Support has seen several customers that have been experiencing intermittent issues when using their CTR500 along with the Option GT Ultra Express Modem. It seems that these customers are in weaker signal areas and running the 1.2 release of firmware.

We have further tested this combination of modem and router with the newly released firmware version 1.3.1 and have found that it continues to show these same intermittent issues.

At this time, 3Gstore.com advises customers purchase the CradlePoint MBR1000 as an alternate product to the Cradlepoint CTR500, if they were intending to use the Option GT Ultra Express as their selected modem.

If you prefer the CTR500 due to size and function, we advise that you select one of the other modems available like the Sierra Wireless 881U.

Please be advised this Notice ONLY Applies to the Option GT Ultra Express Modem users in weaker signal areas. It is possible that you may have this setup already and working without any issues at all.
