|
|
Hello Sprint Wireless High-Speed Data users!
In order to help get the word out on Sprint's current EVDO coverage, we are starting a little monthly drawing.
If you find a new city that has Sprint EVDO today, but it didn't have it yesterday, please report your city/state/location to EVDO forums (please start a new thread/post - do not reply to this one.)
It will help others, see which cities Sprint is currently working on and let people know where real live Sprint EVDO coverage is.
By posting cities here, you can let everyone know before Sprint makes announcements OR updates the Coverage Maps.
So, here is what we are doing. Every month, we will give away one free Booster Antenna (for any data card that you have) to someone that reports a new city that just went live with EVDO. Boosters available for all Sprint Connection Cards (Merlin S620 or AirCard 580)
If you report multiple cities, you will have a better chance.
Also, EVERYONE wins, since they will see which cities/locations are starting to get EVDO. DO NOT reply to this thread, instead start a new thread with a meaningful subject, such as: Chicago Sprint EVDO Live, then in the thread, post your exact location or locations.
Good Luck! _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier

Since deployment of towers go in stages, I'm happy to report that Raleigh-Durham, NC. area has gone full EV-DO. I'm sure more towers are more todat than yesterday

on 11/13/2005 I was in Kerrville, TX and got a strong EV-DO signal. Sprints maps not show EV-DO active there but it was - and fast |

This area just got some enhanced coverage as of 22nd. Unable to determine if EV-DO went live or just better coverage. Sorry for poor info.

I am using a Sprint PPC 6700 and get EV-DO coverage in Jacksonville from the Airport to South Orange Park/Middleburg (where Blanding Blvd. hits CR 220). EV-DO works east ot Blanding down CR 220
In St Augustine there is EV-DO coverage along the coast (east of US 1) |

| I just purchased a PPC 6700 through Qwest (Qwest runs on the Sprint network), and have excellent EVDO coverage throughout the greater Tucson area, as well in Phoenix. However, EVDO is spotty on I-10 between the two cities. |
