I got the same letter today via courier disc date april 8 .
although they cut me off on the 27th march when I replied to the time sensative message they left on my answering machine. |

| As my disconnection date nears I can now only get a 1X signal. It dropped from EVDO to 1X last night. My download data rate dropped from 1200kbps to 100kbps. Anybody else notice this? How about the Telus users in Aliant's teritory. Are your speeds ok? My Telus card arrives next week. Looks like I won't be getting EVDO on it though. |

No problems with Telus at all! Blasting speed on EVDO at $75 CAD UNLIMITED!

You can change the ESN/PRL on your Novatel to Telus, see mobile files forum by shadowmite on how to do it
Does anyone have the "PUT_??" code that was on their printout when they signed up for the unlimited $75 plan? Thanks |

They did the same to me. I purchased the $300 EVDO card from them as well and they refused to refund me.
It took 5 months via the BBB to get them to give me my money back.
Now I got the unlimited plan with Telus for $100.
It's a hint faster and I've continued my usage without ever hearing any comlpaints from them.
Basically all carriers incl Telus have taken their unlimited EVDO product off the market in canada.
I signed up for my contract a few months ago on a 3 year term and it's grandfathered. They told me if I wanted to I could transfer it to someone else.
So anyone here in canada need an EVDO unlim plan? |
