whoa i hope they do expand rev a nationwide
b/c i can't get cable or dsl in my area
but i have an altell tower 100 yds from my house

don't count on it being nationwide. It will probably not be available in rural areas. |

don't count on it being nationwide. It will probably not be available in rural areas. |
actually i live in the city....dsl is available 1/4 mile away but i can't get it |

| I have Alltel in Arkansas and I get rA from time to time; problem is it pretty much tanks my connection. I have to disconnect and reconnect, hopefully to DO or 1X. |

| Alltel is only testing Rev. A in northern Arkansas at this time. If you get it anywhere else, your roaming off Sprint which is why your having problems. |

Every indication I'm getting is that it will go to all areas eventually. I'm in a rural area, but we're right off of I-80, so we're likely to get it once the new tower they are installing goes up - hopefully late spring. |

ok....kinda ironic i said i wished they would get rev in my area
and today i picked up a rev a signal for about a few minutes
and i did a ping:

but lately i've been getting huge lag spikes
constantly

I'm about as rural as you can get and I have Rev A. I'm not roaming off Sprint..I don't even think we have Sprint here. Location: zip 48740 Northern Michigan-east side. 8 miles out from nearest small town. Middle of farmland. No major interstate. 40 miles from the nearest walmart even. No logical sense why I have it.

those ping times aren't that bad
some days i have ping times that avg over 250
it drives me mad
but if i stay under 150, i'm happy with my online gaming |
