They should be contacting you soon. We asked them to contact you directly and provided them with your e-mail address.
Be sure to let us know if you have something working, The UK can get in on the action then as well! _________________ - Victor |

First off - great work by everyone trying to get the Cradelpoint working with the Huawei modems.
Unfortunately I did not purchase a router on the basis that I was unsure whether it would work with my Huawei E172 after contacting Cradlepoint Support.
However I spoke to a Sales Engineer (I will withold his name) who sent me a bin file to load on the PHS and see if it works. Unfortunately he asked me not to resend this file so I suggest contacting Cradlepoint directly.
Sorry for not being more helpful. |

Wow, they built a new firmware for you to test? That is so much more than you get from any other router company.
Make sure you post your results, with CradlePoint's blessing if you need to get it. |

| If all companies were ran like cradle point people would have no complaints I have a ctr 350 and I purchased mine from the 3g store I have not had any reason to call for support but if I need it it is an extra benefit of buying from them. but I really like how cradlepoint operates there buisness. How many companies have you heard of doing these things for their customers. |

I've been amazed at how they've responded so quick on MANY things they've been asked to do,and I'm sure some of them are pretty time consuming.
P.S. You guys/gals at the 3gstore do a great job also.If I hadn't found this website I would still be doing peoplepc dialup.....I'm having flashbacks just thinking about it. |

I can't post results as I dont have the PHS router and I was kindly asked not to send the firmware on. So all I can suggest is someone contact the sales Engineer I dealt with.
Send me a private message and I will email you his details. I dont think its fair to release his name on the public forums. |

| Are you saying you didn't get firmware for the right unit? Did you ping them back and ask for the right firmware? |

I don't have a PHS300. I didn't pick one up.
To clarify. Cradlepoint sent me some new firmware for a PHS300. I can't try it as I don't have a PHS300 (I was expecting to buy one on my travels to the USA but they didnt reply in time and I am back home in UK) |

hi, I'm planning on getting one of these sent over. Either from ebay if they ship here or get it shipped to my uncles in Florida and then shipped to me.
When you talk of modem strings, is this just the APPN settings? general.tmobile.uk or something more? |

Yea, you can program the APN in the latest firmwares using AT commands. They show you an example of how to do it in the help files.
So you can program one onto your sim, and you can see what ones are already on your sim/modem under the status/modem info page. It pops up with all the "profiles" that are on your sim/modem that it can detect. |
