I upgraded the firmware today and now the fiollowing features don't work
1. The wired WAN backup function is now broken. The EVDO card dials up even when the wired WAN connection is active and the modem backup option is enabled.

2. The web interface is unreachable when the EVDO card is in the router. The only way to reach the router is with the EVDO card unplugged.

Any ideas? If somehas the previous firware version, please let me know where to get it so I can get the router working again. In it's present state, it's babrely usable without autoback functioning.

Thanks, Stu

You can still get it at the Sprint web site

The following is the same for me with 2.01.12:
"The web interface is unreachable when the EVDO card is in the router. The only way to reach the router is with the EVDO card unplugged."

I can't verify the other problem.
It's hard to believe that they actually tested this, and still released it.

I'm sorry your having problems, 2.01.12 has been working great for me and it fixed the upload issue. Try to access with your proxy setting UNCHECKED and see if you can access it then.

As in the other problem thread, I cannot test failback, but definitely can get to the router admin pages with the card in and when connected to Sprint.

The enw firmware does appear to have resolved the upload problem so I have removed the manual QoS settings without a problem.

I am using a Verizon card rev A card 5750. I wonder if that is the issue? As I stated, I went back to the previous firmware 2.00.9 and the auto failover and router's web interface works again with the card installed. I'm baffled. I put the QOS setting that fixed the upload issue back into the config until this is resolved by somebody.

Still not reachable with the card inserted. and if it did work, that still doesn't explain why the router dials the EVDO card with a working wired WAN connection. and the backup option to modem set to enabled. This firmware was not thoroughly tested prior to release IMHO.

Where is this firmware being downloaded from? I just checked Sprint's download page and I could only find the old version.

Linksys Web site but be careful upgrading. I have a Verizon 5750 card and the firmware BROKE the router. It seems Ok wiith the Pantec 500 card from posts here.

I can see where the failover is not working. They flipped how the failover works 180 degrees. Instead of failing to WAN when the EVDO breaks, it happens the other way. Weird, but that's just Linksys. I'll wait til Sprint evaluates it and posts it on their site.

I am using 2.01.12 firmware with an EX720 and it is very stable. I was using a Pantech PX-500 before and when I had two or more computers connected, I would have to reset the router once or twice a day. I'm not sure if the card or the firmware fixed the problem but I'm happy either way....

I don't use fail over and have no need for it so I don't have any input on that issue.

I upgraded last night to the new firmware. The speeds ( for me) definitely seem quicker. Speedtest gives similar latency, slightly better uploads and downloads.

The Web Interface is accessible, but then locks up when it tries to identify the Mobile Wan. The previous firmware identified the Verizon card(5750) and showed TX and RX and connect times.

If the performance continues to "seem" better, I'm going to leave it alone. If not, I still have the 2.09 to flash back to.
