| I'm not sure if there are geographical variations, but here in Michigan they updated me to 40036 yesterday. |

| 40036 is the current PRL for data cards, Treos, and Blackberrys. |

I was having the same "activation failed" message. After trying several methods, I found out you have to be disconnected from Alltel. After disconnecting I had no trouble getting this to work. However, I haven't noticed any improvements:
Last Result:
Download Speed: 1155 kbps (144.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 105 kbps (13.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Thanks Bigdave for the information. |

I've had sporadic results this past week, but it has settled this morning hopefully.

The 40036 is great!!!!
I tried to post my speedtest, but I guess they restrict newbies using URLs because of all the spam.
My speed was never over 1100 down before the update. Got 1800 in Corbin, KY yesterday & tonight getting 1200-1500 just north of Louisville, KY.
Highly recommend upgrading to the new PRL _________________ GraphicWonders |
