Anybody have trouble using the 595U with OS X 10.5? I just upgraded to Leopard and after connecting the Sierra Wireless app died.

I couldn't even get it to recognize the modem. I figured I'd lose support for it, so I dual booted Tiger and Leopard by splitting my hard drive into two partitions. We'll see how long, if ever, Sierra takes to create a driver for OS 10.5. I'll email them and ask.

I don't even know how to start diagnosing my problem. Watcher Lite doesn't recognize the modem, and the logs don't show that the system recognized a USB device of any kind.

My Sprint AirCard 595U works perfectly with Mac 10.4. Now I am using 10.5 on a new MacBook and my connection is dropped often. Sometimes after just one minute--other times after about ten. I have a constant and reliable connection on a 10.4 computer. I'm using Sierra Wireless Watcher Lite (Host SW Version 1.1.1, HW Version 2.0, Modem SW Version p2005900).

Anyone else experiencing this? Any advice?

I have experienced some incompatibility problems after upgrading to Leopard (10.5). At times I need to disconnect the 595U in order to get a USB printer working. I also need to unplug-it to get Parallels working. I think either Sprint or Sierra Wireless need to come up with better software.
