Does anyone know if you will be able to display general info (signal strength,up/down info) in Vista's Gadgets?
Thanks,

Yes, we agree that this is GREAT news, we have been pretty hard on Sprint in our blog because of their lack of Mac support. We also think it is a great idea having one connection manager for all devices. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

Hi Michael,
I wasn't even aware that Sprint's Connection Manager doesn't currently support all there devices right now. That's crazy! What is with them? At any rate, what is your estimate on a release date for the Mac compatibility?
Also, is there a link to forums for the speed test results for the new Sierra 595U on the Mac?
Thanks! |

SPrint has a different version of the connection manager for each manufacturer, so you have to have one for Novatel, Sierra, Pantech, etc. The 2.0 version will have drivers for all included for ONE version of connection manager.
There is no ETA on the Mac version. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

| The same Connection Manager for Mac will also support LINUX as well, though a release date has yet to be announced. |

downloaded the new connection manager because the "software upgrade" didn't work on 3.04, so I downdload from the sprint site and then realised it's a new application that's more then just the broadband manager.
comments:
1) nice interface that displays up/down realtime speeds and the connect type
2) nice integration for VPN
3) *seems* like the connection is more stable with this software than the broadband manager... Been on for two days without a disconnect and running at Rev A the entire time.
4) ##DATA and ##DEBUG work, hover pointer over "disconnect" button
5) consistantly 500DL/200UL from home
6) office 1000DL/500UL _________________ -brig XP / 595U |

Wait.... you downloaded a SCM for OS X? When I go to the download page and choose my OS (OS X) it only gives me instructions on how to set up my novatel 720. No link for a scm for mac. Anyone have a actual link for the program? Thanks
