That KR1 does not offer Cardbay support - we can confirm it does not work.

That means the KR1 won't work with an adapter with ANY of the ExpressCards, including the Verizon (Novatel V640) card? Bummer.....

If there's anything that's characterized EVDO support by many of the players (including Kyocera), it's been incomplete implementation and follow-thru, with a hitch at every turn. I'm guessing the KR2 will address this, though... Rolling Eyes

Scott has started doing some testing with an ExpressCard Adapter.

He's started a new thread on compatibility: http://www.evdoforums.com/about3153.html

We haven't found a computer/Router/PCI Card that yet works with it Sad

I predict this device will cause more people to return their V640s, since they will probably be promised by stores that it works with everything - and users will find out that it doesn't - that is too bad.
