Can someone please post directions for the Sierra Wireless 595U? The screenshots are not showing up on the first page.
I tried changing my HA but the card wouldn't even connect. Which profile are you to change and are there other things to do besides just punching in the Primary and Secondary HA? |

1. I just loaded new SCM 1.03.0020.0.
2. Checked HA Addresses. The addresses that loaded in are not on the list, not sure where they are located at:
Primary: 68.28.15.12
Secndry: 68.28.31.12
3. In the new SCM you can load in I think up too 9 diffrent Primary/secondary HA address (essentialy a diffrent profile for each).
My questions:
1. Do you only want to have one of the HA profiles enabled, or do you want to have them all enabled?
a. If you have all of ur Ha Profiles enabled, does SCM connect to
the first profile?
2. With the old SCM you could see what HA Address you are connected to the network with. How do you see which HA Address you are connected to the network with the new SCM?
Feedback on NEW SCM
1. It would be cool if there was a rule section for HA address, where you could specifythat if you are getting below a certain up/down speed to scan all of the Ha addresses and select a diffrent ha address based on one that is a better performing ha address.
2. I think it would be nice if the HA address section of the app was more integrated into the main app/ Meaning not having to enter msid, have a pull down menue built right into scm. Along with some sort of graph that shows history of ha speeds.
3. I also think it would be nice if you created a gadget in vista for scm. Or the SCM Icon down on the task bar, if you put your cursor over it, you have your type of connection and signal strength pop up above the icon. Basically display allitle more info from your taskbar icon.
3. I know some of this is a bunch of wishful thinking, I like the app, seems to be a much better app, well done sprint and i look forward to any add ons that come are way. _________________ Vista64,EX720 |

| I am curious if we can get a compilation of the new HA's that show up in the new Connection Manager. We have one, who else has new HA's to report. |

My HAs are also 15.12 and 31.12 in MO.
I wonder if this is a new series of Home Agents that dynamically change the routing when moving around the country?
I'll be traveling to FL in a couple weeks and will check if the routing follows the location.
For those who have the new SCM, please post your default HAs and state you're located. If the same across the country, dynamic routing might be the case. |

Is it just me, or is the New York Home Agent (68.28.121.76 and 68.28.121.77) not working any more?
I've been able to connect to it once in the past 3 days. The time that I did, speedtest.net showed that it was located in Toronto, Canada. Did they replace this home agent with a new one? |

If you are using the new scm, then it is not allowing u to change the HA Address. When u exit out of the HA address window, the default HA address is repopulated. Again this is only with the new vs. so sprint connection mangler _________________ Vista64,EX720 |

I have the Franklin CDU680, so I don't use the SCM, this is in the Franklin Connection Manager.
Also, today I haven't been able to connect to any HA. I had to leave the address blank to get it to connect, and I've only been able to connect to 1xRTT. I have my EVDO card sitting in my window, connected with an 8' USB extension cord. I haven't moved it and I usually get 5 bars at -92 dBm. |

What happens if you tried using the SCM New/Old? _________________ Vista64,EX720 |

Are you saying that the new connection manager will not allow HA address changes for a device? |

| I tried the new SCM, but it wouldn't connect with my card. It was probably me doing something wrong, though. |

That is correct, ON NEW SCM you can not change HA address. If you do, whne you go back into HA Address interface the default HA address that came with the new SCM is restored. _________________ Vista64,EX720 |

So basically if anyone upgrades to the new SCM version 1.03.0020.0 , you can't use the this tweak at all. What other performance tweaks would be available if I upgraded. Is this new SCM upgrade substantial and really recommended? |

1.I am not sure if there are any new tweaks with the new scm. The jury is still out.
2. You would still be able to use the old scm if you upgraded to the new scm. But the old scm will not recognize the default HA address from the new scm. This will not cause any problems with the old scm. _________________ Vista64,EX720 |
