If you find more detailed TOS relative to EVDO/UMTS, please post. Looks like Verizon is very specific. Sprint/Cingular are not nearly as specific to how you use the network, but do state they have the right to cancel abusers.

Discussion on Cingular's TOS for HSDPA, which appears almost as restrictive as Verizon's.

Will Sprint follow with detailed restrictions? If they have the bandwidth available, they may have an advantage by not making an issue of heavy usage until necessary. In the past, Sprint has not been as restrictive for Vision or ways of using 1xRTT so they may avoid stating such specific restrictions. Sprint seems to traditionally behave more like an open ISP. Verizon seems to behave like a provider of only specific services.

On reading the Sprint TOS carefully, it seemed to me that the Early Termination Fee is only $150. Does anyone have any information to the contrary?

Looks like Sprint is $150 and Verizon is $175 for early termination. I couldn't find Cingular's but a google on it refers to $150 for other services, not specifically HSDPA.

Sprint has a 14 day EVDO trial and I imagine the others do too if that is what you're getting at.

While Verizon (and Cingular to some degree) specifically state no downloading/streaming video, music or online gaming, Sprint actually promotes it.

Permits More Business Applications—With Sprint you can:
* Stream a meeting to a national employee audience
* Download multimedia content (i.e., sales presentations or training video), music or games.
